Booking Process – Rangitahi Marae
Booking Rangitahi Marae is a simple and seamless process designed to ensure your event is well-organised while respecting the cultural significance of our marae. Follow the steps below to secure your booking:
Step 1
Submit Your Booking & Pay Deposit
Complete our online booking form with your event details, including the type of booking, expected guest numbers, and any special requirements. You can also indicate if you would like to include catering. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Step 2
Finalize Event Arrangements
Closer to your event, we will liaise with you to finalise catering options (if requested), venue setup, provide you with the keys, and any other details to ensure a smooth experience. A $400.00 bond is required to secure your booking and full payment is required before your event date.
Step 3
Arrival & Welcome
Prior to arrival, our roopu tiaki (booking team) will guide you through:
-how to use all amenities
-expectations for pōwhiri (welcome process)

Catering: Our modern, fully-equipped kitchen is available for use, or we can arrange catering for your event upon request.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Tangihanga (Funerals) take precedence at the marae. In the event of a tangi during your booking, a full refund will be provided, and we will assist in rescheduling if needed.

Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may incur a cancellation fee.
